Earlier this year I launched a community site: ArtCrazed.com. Despite lack of time to properly promote the site it is slowly gaining in popularity. The site’s engine is Elgg 9.1 and I was looking forward to the release of version 1.0 ever since I read about the new architecture. The 1.0 version is not an update but it is built from the ground up, so I decided to test it first on this domain. While doing so I realized that this site could also be a wonderful platform to share photographs with people I photographed and a nice little network for friends. So the test site is here stay. The Lab seemed to be the appropriate name. Click here to have a look around. Registration is free.

Recently I came across a French E-Bay ad with my name in it. There were 24 magazines for sale and one of them contained some of my works. I had too think really hard before I remembered that 1980 interview at Photographiques. I always assumed that the article was never written because I had never heard from them since. When the package arrived I was most intrigued by the interview. I was fascinated that this interview could have taken place a year ago. I am either a very boring or very consequent photographer because my ideas about photography have not changed a bit since then.

When Laura Henkel started working as a curator for The Erotic Heritage Museum, she asked me to send a cd-rom with some pictures. I asked her how many and she said that a hundred would be nice. Adding to that she commented that this series would probably cover all forms of human sexuality. For a moment there I was not sure whether I should take this as compliment. Currently I am working on a selection. You will find some recent pictures here.
In the meantime however I have built up some experience with shipping works overseas and the red tape involved. So now that I have the hundred pictures, I think it is better to have them published as a book first.
